FIC: Vocabulary Lesson by Cowardly Lion

Aug 13, 2009 18:45

So, a few days back, there was a discussion based on a particular phrasing found in a fic that seemed a bit off. This story is the result.

Just under 1,600 words, it is rated R, I think, due to language. Many thanks to Mare for the quick beta.

Synopsis: Jack and Teal'c help Daniel expand his vocabulary. Sam's glad she missed it.

"Believe me, I would really like to un-know some of this."
But why, Daniel? That was very interesting and I learned a lot of new words! *g*

And I can really imagine that Jack loves to have such a conversation only to annoy Daniel a bit and see him blush. *lol*

That's one of Jack's on-going goals in life! :D

pecker checker! ROFL! This fic is just hilarious but then you get to poor shy quiet Daniel finally yelling Manchowder and Sam walking in... *dies laughing*

Poor Daniel -it's just like he said in "Camelot": "Boy, my timing's off today!" :D

This is the kind of useful vocabulary they never teach in French class. Thanks for reading. :)

See, that's the kind of stuff students need. I'm fairly certain that phrases such as "My pencil is yellow!" or "That is my trash can!" will not get you very far on the streets of France. You have a very cool mum. :D
