[She spins one last time on one foot, ending the spin facing the building and running towards it, eager to go and check on Justin. She fully expects Shilo to keep up with her. It doesn't even occur to her that her behaviour could be considered rude - or if it did occur to her, she didn't care.]
[A full out run was not at all expected. Shilo is off in a sprint.]
We don't need to run. What if someone sees-?
[It's the middle of the night, someone would be upset by the noise that running footsteps would make down the hallways. Her attempts at being a conscience to this situation fall short because she whispers as loud as she can.]
[Oblivious to most matters outside of her corner of the City, Shilo hasn't considered her nightmares to be part of a curse. They do tend to be grim. Though she hadn't had one so awful in quite some time.]
We could get thrown out.
[Which is likely another thing that isn't a worry to one of these girls. The only way that Shilo catches up is when at last Road comes to a complete stop. Even then it takes her a few moments to reach the door.]
[The wild theory sprouts from her mouth, grasping at reasons to just try and go in quietly, carefully. Especially if something could be wrong. If they did break down the door it would look that way. Not the effect, desired.
Neith wouldn't appreciate all the noise.
Why can't he just be there?]
Gently.
[Not that Road was asking for permission or ideas.]
And Justin will make such~ a fuss if we mess up one of his precious crime scenes. Even if he's the victim. In that case...
[a black and red chequered heart-shaped door rises from the ground, flinging itself open as soon as it's all visible. There's nothing but swirling purple to be seen inside it.]
You haven't heard from him either?

Road!

[She calls out behind her as she skips along the corridor, moving rather faster than a child her age should be able to.
She though that if they did accidentally wake anyone up, they'd be pleased to be out of the nightmares they were surely trapped in today.]

Will you knock, or shall I?
[Without waiting for an answer, she hammers on the door.]
Justin~. Justin. JUSTIN. Open up!

I think he'd be able to hear that.
[Sarcasm, is all she's got for right now.]

[She finishes off with a half hearted kick against the door, then pouts.]
He's not answering.

[There'd be no way that anybody would be keeping the door shut at that ruckus. Dread spreads in the pit of her stomach.]
He'd answer.
[A part of her wants to knock too, but that wouldn't change the quiet that settled.]
[ooc; aaand sleep tiiimes, tags later. Gniiight!]

[She seems to have ever intention of forcing the door open to enter the apartment.]
((ooc: sleep well!))

We'll take the other way in.

But if she doesn't try, how will she ever know? She swallows and makes herself nod twice, the verbal response is temporarily stopped.
This can't be sane. This can't be safe. What other way is there besides this? If they wait until an officer can help them it might be too late.]
It'll go right to the other side?
[The first shuffled step closer to that strange opening is the most difficult.]

Of course~. Hurry or I'll leave you here.
[She smiles at her but it's not meant to be reassuring.]
