About two weeks ago I posted about the possibility of adopting a senior ferret who had just recently lost his two cage mates to cancer. I am sad to report that, he too, has passed away. do you subscribe to the ferret health list? there was a thread on there about a month ago about a young ferret exhibiting signs of rabies, the symptoms were like you were describing. the ferret was in the toronto area, I think, but the necropsy did not find rabies. If you don't subscribe, I will try to find the outcome because I don't recall it.

Nope, I don't subscibe. I saw this ferret last Thursday and he was fine. I will wait for the result but I suspect that it will be something along the lines of a stroke. Right now I'm kinda worried about his 'brother'. :(
