Inside the front cover is the following inscription:

Gift/M&D
This came to me in a large box of mostly paperbacks from one E. Shatzen, who lives in the Newbury Park neighborhood. I don't know where he got it from, but I just might try to piece this trail together ( Read more... )

It certainly sounds like one of my books. Yes, by all means try to piece together the trail. Although it may be the case that I've got another copy -- but it would be extremely out of character for me to discard the copy that was a gift. This is why there are still three copies of the same Piers Anthony paperback on my shelves.
