[She'd taken to wearing it - that was the only way to keep it truly safe, she decided. Since it had been taken, however accidentally, no place seemed good enough, hidden enough. While wearing it at all times might not have seemed the most concealed course of action, at least she knew where it was, and knew that she could keep it safely tucked

[Having already knocked, the blonde stood in front of the door waiting patiently for her friend to answer. Ever since Sarah had mentioned receiving the necklace from her "friend" on their dinner outing, which in Rose’s mind was really a date, curiosity had taken a firm hold on her as it often did and she was giddy with excitement to see it on the inside. With everything that she had seen and experienced thus far, a friend with a diamond necklace was new, especially when it came from the sort of person that her friend was. This City was just full of more and more surprises as the days passed, it seemed.

She gave the door another knock, only this time calling out.]

Sarah, you there? It’s me, Rose.

[She swung the door open quickly, her eyes shining with expectation, her smile only widening when she saw her friend.]

Rosemary!

[Ushering her in, she shut the door behind them, taking a hold of Rose's hand and pulling her into her own room.]

Quick, before Misi gets here - you have to see.

[Spread out on Sarah's bed is the lovely sea-green and blue dress she wore, the one Megumi had picked out for her. At the foot of the bed stood a pair of black T-straps, still distinctly new. Sarah refrains from speaking at the moment, choosing instead to watch her friend's reaction closely.]

[Rose beamed brightly at her friend, greeting her in return.]

Sarah-kins!

[She followed along, the grin refusing to fade. When she saw various the clothing items laid out neatly on the bed, the blonde gasped. It was absolutely stunning. She could easily see Sarah looking like quite the elegant princess on her date.]

You must've looked so amazing in this! The dress and these shoes!

[Rose's attention remained on the items for a few seconds longer, wanting to walk over and touch the shoes but refraining from doing so. Instead she turned back to her friend a smile tugging at her lips with a raised brow. There was just one missing piece to all this.]

And where's the necklace?

[She smiled even more, if that was possible, feeling a slight blush warming her face. Ducking her head slightly, she reached past her collar, pulling out a pretty silver chain graced by a silver owl charm.]

Here it is.

[She waited a moment, letting Rose examine it.]

Though I'm not sure why it's an owl...but it is nice, don't you think?
