Anyway, I’m not sure if you want to post the ramblings in the review section of your page, but if so feel free and I still wish I could get that kind of coherency up for the one vid of yours I still come back to and cuddle up in the dark and let my diabolic mind run free. I spare you the porn analogy and how it is hotter and worse for my intellect, because that would conceivably go too far. Even if true. I love this vid! Saw in at Winchestercon, and downloaded it as soon as I got home. The song is perfect for John, and I love how both the beat of the song and the pacing of the clips convey John's drive and the relentlessness of his (and then Dean's) mission.

Wow hon, talk about impressive. Your editing/effects are so flawless and complex and pretty much beyond my understanding, that I'm sure if I didn't watch the show I would think that is all done by the pro's. I really enjoyed this. I love the song, it went so perfectly for John. This one is my new favourite of yours :) I'm really really really impressed :D

Beautiful work! It's a vid that I can watch over and over again. It's pretty and emotional and captures John's journey perfectly. Love it! I'll definitely rec your vid to my friends.
Your vid really impressed me. You see, I'm not exactly the biggest fan of John Winchester. I get that John raised his kids the best he could under the circumstances, but he made a lot of mistakes in the process, so I'm not too keen on seeing him celebrated as a "great" father because he wasn't, IMHO. Dean was more of a father to Sam than John was. And Dean never really felt like he had a father or he woudn't be so desperate for his dad's approval

Yeah, I don't feel the vid celebrates John as such. I do love him but I think his flaws are very much present in the vid. That single-minded determination has consequences for everyone. I think he loved his sons but I also think that he was so destroyed in the moment that he lost his wife that he could never quite get past that as a father. I hope some of that is visible in the vid.
I have no real plans for further SPN vids in the near future. But you never know when inspiration will strike.
