- I must say after editing this and re-writing some parts, I am quite fond of this fic; it has everything I'd always wanted to explore - history and relationships, and Giripan ♥ I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it :')

I felt it was necessary to mention Dr Nagai, especially when his own personal story is already very touching on its own, so I'm glad I was able to tie it into the fic as well, and juxtapose his relationship with Midori (even if only a little) against Greece and Japan's own ties to each other.

I don't think there are words to adequately describe how beautiful this was. All the historical details, the way their relationship changed throughout the years... oh it was just lovely. I'm actually in the middle of writing a reunion ficlet myself (unrelated to the kink meme, I have no idea how I missed that prompt!) and this just throws mine into the dust. ♥

Oh wow, your comment just made me go asdfjdfdlgkh I don't know what to say except that I'm rather embarrassed now. I really wanted to show the little things about their relationship and their feelings throughout each scene and so I'm happy you liked it.

It was one of the earlier prompts (Part 5 I think) and the original request was actually just "Greece/Japan reunion sex after WWII" lol. Somehow this fic ran way with me and just.. wrote itself out? Aww I'm sure yours will be just as wonderful. Which characters' reunion will you write for? UKUS?

The added scene really does give the fic a more complete feel and you managed to sneak a little bit of smut in there too. I did love the style you wrote this fic in (even if you said that it was hard for you to write in), and the scene with Dr. Takashi and his wife was just lovely. ♥

Yes, it really does feel a bit more "tied-together" now, so to speak I am somewhat ashamed to say that I woke up with that little smut scene writing itself out in my mind. Captcha and my muses demand teh smut lol.

I loved that scene too. It made me sad reading about his story, so that is my tribute to them, in some small way as odd as it sounds.

I love Greece and his culture and history too, as much as Japan's, which is why I decided this fic should be told from his POV Greece needs some spotlight, at times and I love writing him so much!
