Christmas Shopping

I live in South Florida. Christmas here is like a joke. It's usually 75 degrees or hotter. There are not even vibrant leaves, let alone snow. It's perfectly common to drive through a neighborhood and be lulled by the smells of BBQ.  It's not unlikely to find families on the beach.

I'd kill for warm weather at Christmas. My mom knows about Christmas in Florida all too well. Many years ago my mom was 9 months pregnant at Christmas. She bitched about being so tired she had to sit down to make Christmas dinner. I was born 3 days later

First warm Christmas is fun. After a few years though, you'd give up a lot for just a cool breeze!
