I felt like I should pop up to say that the reason "researching" "hispanic culture" is probably so hard is that there are a lot of different "hispanic cultures"; they're not a monolithic people. You should probably start by deciding where your character's family is from (Puerto Rico? The Dominican Republic? Mexico? etc) and going from there; probably the best way to get a feel for it would be to pick up some autobiographies or fiction books about or by people from those areas.

I probably should have specified that she's from the Fresno area of California, and that she's of Mexican decent, but I was going for the quick-and-easy method of jotting down my wishes ;)

What sort of things are you looking for in writing a musician? I don't know of any _websites_ that might be a resource other than musictheory.net, but I might be able to help you myself.
