Marilyn and I pretty much did nothing today. We were lazy and laid around and watched a little TV and played on our iPads and did Edits for our Instagram accounts and had a late brunch. Marilyn and I just watched "The Iron Lady," a film that had mixed reviews -- but for which Meryl Streep won the Academy Award (Best Actress), the Golden Globe (Best Actress) and the BAFTA Award (Best Actress). This is considered one of her finest performances in her acting career ( Read more... )

Marilyn and I literally started what we've always called 'writing contests' decades ago. Of course, back in the early days, these were done while sitting on a blanket outside in the yard, all longhand.
