Death of someone close REALLY makes us think about life, about our own lives, mostly, and where we want then to go. It has done that to us for sure. And as we get older we are faced with it more and more.
I was away when Mitch died...I take it he died at home and alone? I hope going to his house brings you peace and closure, though, Charlie. Sometimes we just need that
Donna, it was so unexpected. Such a shock. He was only 55! He lived alone and was on vacation. He hadn't gotten back to us to a phone call and email, so we wondered -- but thought he'd gone off rock hounding (as he sometimes did without telling anyone). They phoned US (he's been estranged from his brother) to find a relative to tell. He was there for around two weeks. I think we may have been the last people to see him alive...
I've been focusing on his death way too much. Grieving very hard, but also thinking about our lives and aging and so on. Suddenly my age seems older than it ever has to me before this. I'm just working through the whole thing. You know what I mean, I'm sure.

Thanks for the kind words. So appreciated!

Active prayer, is in fact a part of MANY traditions; just different labels are used for the activity.
AND I am soooo!!! glad, you two are finally looking at scheduling you time, sleep time, rest and relax time! I nearly clapped when I read that part :)
