Yeah, it might be vaca, but I needed to do a deadline job for the festival today -- working on the Christmas card graphics. This is hopefully off to the printers now (I had to re-do it once, so far). We got up in time to go to McDonald's for breakfast, something both Marilyn and I think is fun. We got sausage biscuits and coffee, then did some errands, including going to WalMart. I got birdseed for my hungry crows and some new shorts (woo hoo) that Marilyn picked out for me. I love every single pair

I just traded out the keyboards on both Marilyn's computer and my own. I hated (!!!) the touch of the Lenovo keyboards I was trying out -- and I'm very much all about the way a keyboard works. It was another VERY busy day (!!!) today. We had our event at City Hall (photos aren't DLed yet, I'm afraid) -- and I cried more than once. The speeches the delegates from Sapporo, Japan gave were AMAZING and moving! Imagine writing a speech in another language -- then being expected to present the speech, as well! They spoke such great English --
