My sincerest condolences to you, Marilyn, Sue, and everyone else whose lives he touched -- and it seems he touched many in his all-too-brief (nearly) 56 years of life!
Though it may seem strange, I feel a sense of loss as well because after having read all of your posts over the years about what a great friend he was I knew how much he meant to you, and your loss is my loss.
This post you wrote is quite lovely and your poignant words touched my heart, causing me to nearly cry at the end -- I had to stop myself! What a shock to know that not only had you just seen him a little over two weeks ago but that he had passed not long after that. Being as you were so close I'm sad you and Marilyn didn't know the fact more quickly but now that you do I will be praying for God to comfort, guide, and love you as you all grieve the loss of a wonderful man.
*Comforting HUGS for a difficult time*
