I HATE timeline. Enough said. The weather is topsy turvy all over the world, I think. It suddenly got colder here after veritable summer temps. No snow, though. We never get that. I expect yours will melt soon.
In the meantime we here in the Midwest have enjoyed above-average summerlike temps, at least up until yesterday when spotty showers arrived BUT we are still well above average for this time of year!
Makes me wonder what summer is going to be like.... 0_o
I will not go to Timeline until I absolutely have to, and even then I am pretty sure I won't like it. =/
I think it is a metaphoor for tragic love. well got that idea after I read 春の雪(Haru no Yuki or Spring Snow) by Yukio Mishima ( in English of course), it was the first part of his The Sea of Fertility tetralogy

My lilacs are fully budded and split, my butterfly bush is greening, crocus are all in full bloom, tulips opening ... oh wait SLEET
