My day started out at home, where I got a few things done and managed to wash my hair (it needed it). Marilyn came to pick me up mid-day so I could be in the office for afternoon work ( Read more... )

I enjoyed reading all of this and just got up to come out on the computer before I try to go to sleep. Marilyn and I had a nice talk about Rafa and she told me all about the kitchen, finances, etc. It does sound really good and will be so wonderful for you both. I am very excited for you.

I am trying to stay very positive. I has a large sweating thing when I was talking to Marilyn. I went in and took a bath, changed my nightgown, since the one I had on was soaked. I should change the bed, but I will let Candy and Nicole do that for me tomorrow.

I know that I am getting wonderful care and I have complete faith in my heart doctors so that is all very good. Now I just need to be more patient and stay positive. Thank you both for being there for me all of the time. Sorry that you must work tomorrow, but at least Marilyn said she is not going to cook corn all day like last year.

Somehow he didn't get that he was supposed to do that (really???), in spite of my numerous emails and text messages to him... (sigh)

Relying on other people to do things for you can sometimes be quite frustrating, can't it? Here's to hoping he gets it done...and gets it all right this time! ;)

I continue to pray for Sue, and hope her recovery remains on an even keel without any more scary spells like she had recently. Recovering from anything can be so daunting and frustrating, and sometimes I think we can become so impatient about being patient! *LOL*

I've never seen "Letters to Juliet" but will definitely put that on my Netflix queue (yep, despite all of the furor over their new higher pricing we still have it, and are actually paying less than we did before because I modified our plan) because you recommended it. :)

Have a great weekend, Charlie (and Marilyn and Sue, too)! ♥
