Good Morning Charlie,

I apologize for being "cheap" but I have to go make popcorn at the girls' school this morning and don't have much time so I will share with you what I wrote over in Marilyn's journal:

The pictures and video are absolutely amazing and humbling,and I was so shocked and saddened to learn of this tragedy when I turned on the tv this morning.

I'm praying for everyone,and hope the tsunami after-effects are minimal for you all on the entire U.S. West Coast. ♥

I hope the impact is lessened as they're saying now. I have been following several news channels all morning and the images from Japan are horrifying.

This has been so terrible for Japan, and we were very lucky not to have had horrible damage on our coast. Still they say the Oregon damage at the Southern Coastal cities will amount to ten Million.

Some areas in California had it bad too.

Japan is where I am sending my prayers, that horrible vision of the damage and the water spreading over the farm land is etched in my brain.

You and Marilyn are so involved with the Japanese people now and this is so terrible for those living there, and here with relatives and friends there.
