Marilyn is VERY sick. She still has a running nose and congestion and a fever. She feels lousy. She was DOWN all day long and slept a great deal today (which I think is a good thing). She has an awful cough. I'd like to say it's getting better, but I'm not sure that's true

I hope Marilyn gets better soon. It sounds bad!
And I hope things workout for the stuff you were going to do too.

What you need is an insulated cookie sheet. I used to use them in the RV when we lived in one. (Small oven) I left it in the oven all the time and set whatever pan I was using on top of it so things did not burn. You can get them at better kitchen places. Very handy, and not just for cookies. Also, many people use a ceramic tile in their oven if they have problems like you do with burning, or cooking too hot.
