Busy and Sore Day...

Apr 25, 2013 23:05

Busy, busy day. And I was far from 100% today (still somewhat under the weather). Plus I was sore! I guess from lifting my bike (which is pretty heavy, with those metal baskets -- even the bike dude was surprised by the weight!), and from riding it for the first time in ages. Ouch. Time to get back in shape, no doubt about it ( Read more... )

Well cribbage was good last night I took second and Tammy took first, since we will play each other on Saturday in the long match, it was funny. Then we will play doubles together in Lincoln City as partners next week-end. I love her and am glad she did good in Centralia and last Sunday went she went to Prinville, she won the consalation, her first tournament win, and first time she got a first place board in a sanctioned event. I am so happy for her, as she is going to Michigan to see her Mom over Memorial Day and really could use the extra money. Her big gift to herself was a new IPhone cellphone. She spends a lot on that, but enjoys it and like you can do such great things with her phone. So can Nicole of course and I am happy for her with that also. I am paying Mary off this week for my new lining on my teeth, so happy about that. Hope you feel better real soon and can make it for the next six weeks of tough hard work. You and Marilyn are so dedicated and do such super work for the Rose Festival. Love you lots Sis and glad we had ( ... )

I love you, dear Suzy!

I should get you to actually BLOG -- because what you've shared here as a comment would make a GREAT entry in your own blog! And then all your LiveJournal Friends could be reading it (and not just me)...

Thanks for sharing all this.

I always love reading your entries. I feel so involved in your life! Sometimes I get tired just reading about what all you have done. One day, I hope to be as awesome in updating daily. I have managed to get better with checking on my friends. I have an app on my phone and (the good thing) not all of my friends update anymore. I feel I can keep up now. I keep up better with people here than I do at FB. Granted, there, it's all about the games.

Thanks a ton for saying this, Cyn! I often wonder if I'm not just boring as all get out, writing my long posts. Hahahahahaha.

Glad to see you get more active here. I'm pulling for you! I know what it's like to struggle with posting, believe me! I fight to do it daily. Last year I was bad for around six months. (In April I only posted TWICE!!!)

Over the years I've gone 'away' many times. But I think it's the coming back that matters.

And isn't LJ a great place to 'play'? And to interact with dear friends?

Glad we can be close this way, Cyn!

No, definitely not boring! I love hearing about your life. I love learning about the festival - always surprised at how much time it takes up and how little sleep you get. I love how you talk about everyone that is important in your life. It is so awesome. Most of the time it is there in my head, but all I can manage is a blah...

I keep going away as well, but thankfully I keep coming back. I'm just excited because yesterday I was on FB for all of maybe 10 minutes. I just was not in the mood for it.

LJ land - oh how I love it. We can be whomever we want to be here and still be loved! It is awesome.

I'm so glad we are close now too! Its awesome

I've been picking up Laurie King's Sherlock series as I find them. When I have them all, I'll start reading.

You're in for a WONDERFUL time! I think her books are amazing -- and she's just one of the best writers.
