Dear VO1,

I'm pretty sure I remembered your birthday, but even so, Happy Belated Birthday from me. I chose the ginger option, with a sheep. I hope you enjoy. This one got completely out of hand.

As a side note:

cariad - a term of endearment meaning darling, usually used in girlfriend/boyfriend relationships, but can apply here too.
dafad - a sheep

UNCLE CEIFFEN. UNCLE CEIFFEN. OMG I'm gonna die from cute. There is Ceithin and a small redheaded child and they are yelling funny words at a tired old sheep. And the kid is full of drool and tugging and face-clutching and PAIN because holy shit yes, small children hurt you like nothing else even though they think big people are indestructible.

AND HE'S DONE THIS BEFORE. On more than one occasion! Oh Ceithin, you big adorable sheep-scaring rugby star.

Yeah, he's just a big sheep-lovin' country boy at heart who loves to run around scaring farmstock.

I actually know exactly where this house would be, whenever I go for a drive down the beach area here there's this one house which I just know would be his...

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed and I can't wait to get started on yours. I'm a little worried because I have such a perfect visual in my head of him sneaking Ceithin's penguins that I'm not sure yet how I'm going to translate it onto paper (or internetland since it won't actually be on paper... never mind).

Ha, see, just last night I was telling you about how your writing turns me into giant puddles of Lytton mush, and this morning I realised that I still have to review this, so really, this is just a continuation of last night's chat, isn't it?

Charlie, this is so gorgeous. I mean, really, Uncle Ceiffen. You really know how to write children, be it babies (see Santa's Little Helper) or those of the slighty older variety. Carys reminds me of the littlest nephew so much and that is always a good thing. And Ceithin just plays along! He takes the giant stick out of his hot behind and scares of the ancient sheep because that will make the tiny niece happy again. And Mina is extremely pregnant and watches him and just falls in love with him all over again.

And my favourite line is this one:
The two were a mix of deep laughter and baby giggles, red ringlets and white strands flowing in the late afternoon breeze.Genius, pure genius. You suddenly turn this giant brick of a man into a child again, and I love what that does to his ( ... )
