Fandom existentialism

Does anybody but me feel like the whole SPN/J2 fandom is getting more and more surreal, the way it's so meta and self-referential? To some extent, fandom has a part in creating canon (both fictional and real), by being so involved in the show and its actors. Not to mention the way some fans get very tangled up with people close to their fannish

Thanks for the rec! I'll check it out. It's quite time consuming to find your way in a new fandom, and finding out who you want to read. And I'm feeling lazy. So thanks for helping out! :D

Oh, boys! ♥ I'm gonna be a horrible tinhat about that last photo and pretend they married each other. I still can't quite wrap my mind around the fact that Jared's a married man, now. He's so young, still. But I'm happy he's happy.

Also, who's the girl hanging onto Jensen? Is it family of Jared's? (I hope so - I love that Jared and Jensen are so close they're practically married family themselves.) He looks adorable in that photo - doing the tongue thing again ♥.

I've seen another (blurry) photo of the wedding itself, with Jared and Genevieve. From what I could tell, her dress was gorgeous.

Sherlock Holmes is awesome! I haven't read much fic yet, but ah, I'm in love with the film and with Robert Downey Jr. I can't wait for the sequel!

The woman with Jensen is Clif's wife, actually. Both these photos are from Clif's twitter. He provides all the info, these days. I think he's a little weird.

I love the movie too! I'd love to see a version with JUST Holmes and Watson bickering, though. Because I loved those scenes so, so much. And that's why I want to keep reading about them. But it has to be good! I have no patience for crap, these days.

Anyway, she's written a lot of SPN, so I got her for free, so to speak. I think she's outstanding.
