In the post where I listed a few stories that I keep coming back to, I forgot a few important examples which I remembered when I was looking through my stash of fanfiction.

For instance, I started rereading the amazing katallison's Due South novel The End of The Road which is probably the only fanfiction I've read that I would qualify as true realism. It's ( Read more... )

I'm downloading the Rufus video. Thanks! And also, I've been meaning to download Life on Mars and hadn't gotten around to it, so um, I hope you'll leave them up for a little while? I'll go start downloading now. *g*

You're welcome! And yeah, no worries, download away. Let me know when you're done, maybe, and I'll wait until then with taking them down. :)

I'm downloading the Rufus, thank you!

I've heard people talk about The End Of The Road so many times and I always think, "I should read that!", but never get around to it. I will bookmark it in my READ THIS! folder right now.

To read The End of The Road is sort of an endeavour, since it's quite long. But it's worth it! If one likes realism and unhappy endings, that is. Personally, I find it brilliant.

Rufus is quite lovely. And he's probably the most entertaining artist I've experienced live. :)

I loved the Rodney she created who used all his experiences, whether in love or broken-hearted grieving, to become a better person.
It's a beautiful, beautiful portrait of Rodney. And of loss. But still, nothing beats pining. It's just so filled with... PINING! *g*

I'd love to see a post with your favourite stories (although, I didn't quite think of my list of stories as absolute favourites but rather as "stories I reread and why". Of course, the two categories basically overlap, but not in all cases.
