I'm a bit disappointed with the season of Spooks. Adam is so stupid I surprised myself wishing he would die in the bathroom. I really thought he wouldn't make it, and it didn't bother me. I was all like "what goes around, comes around, boy, you get what you deserve".
I think we really really need Zaf to come back. Alive. And ready to kick some asses. And he should begin with Adam's and bring him back as he was before... before fiona's death. Or something.
I was half-expecting Adam to die in the bathroom scene, too. Usually when a character gets that stupid, they're not long for the world (see: Fiona and the deep fried girl of season 1). I just don't know what has happened to Adam this season. He's thinking with his dick, obviously.
Zaf has got to come back soon! It's the only thing that can salvage things. Roz has (possibly) turned traitor. Adam has turned into a moron. Zaf needs to come back and straighten this lot out.

Those Winchester brothers were killing me this week. Especially that last scene with Dean teaching Sam how to take care of his car. *Wails* That one killed me.

It's a sad day when I start liking Roz more than I do Adam.
OMG. I. Know. I mean I hated this woman last season. Hated. Now I'm yelling "Go Roz! You rule!" at my TV. It's most disconcerting. Adam is such a dick now. Harry needs to rein him in and force him to take some sort of mental health leave of absence. I'm starting to fear that we may never see our beloved Zaf again; or at last until the final minutes of the series finale. And YEAH! to Methos! He's that hot dude that was on The L Word last season too isn't he?
I haven't seen any of NUKE's scenes from this week yet. I spent the last couple of days with Dad at the hospital. It appears he has a bladder tumour. :( Further tests and/or surgery next week. *sigh*

I'm actually liking Buddy Garrity more this year. I despised him last year - he's such a pathetic worm - but he seems to be redeeming himself by taking in Santiago. Of course, he does have an ulterior motive.
So if the Jason actor has another gig, I wonder if they're gonna write him off SNL.
I totally agree with you that SPN and SNL are "must-see-TV". Oh, I read at that link you provided that SNL is super-efficient in their filming (I'd heard this elsewhere as well) and so they won't be in too bad shape as a result of the writers' strike. I see that "Heroes" is already pimping their "finale" (in December).
I think you're two seasons of "Spooks" ahead of me now (the DVD of one series is in the shops here that hasn't aired yet - how silly is that?), but I warned you the exit of [writer] Howard Brenton was going to be a big deal, and it sounds like it has been, alas.
Nevertheless, we should revive our campaign to get Larissa to watch Seasons 1-3 or 4.
Did you see "North Square" yet? That might revive your failing love for Adam.
I think I am two seasons ahead of you. UK_Telly has been awesome to me in keeping me up-to-date on Spooks. I have mixed feelings on this season so far. The plots themselves have been good. I enjoy the action and conspiracy and mystery of the week that must be solved.
But Adam has just became incredibly, mind-numbingly stupid this season. Roz is better, though. I find myself liking her. They've added a brilliant new character in Connie. I love her. But Zaf has been MIA and presumed dead (but no body so he's not really dead!) since 601. *Grumbles*
Still, I love the show to bits and we should definitely continue pimping it to Larissa.
I haven't watch "North Square" yet. *Bows head in shame* I guess I need to to remind me of why I once loved Adam so much. Heh. But my downloading has been focused mostly on Spooks and Torchwood and the new season of Robin Hood. I've have to save North Square for when this season of Spooks ends. I might really need it by them to remind me why I like Adam.
