Because I can't remember the last time I wrote a decent blog entry here.
First things first.
I'm back from a much-needed break over the weekend. By break, I mean sun, sand and sea, and it helped that I was with some of my best girls and the boys.

I'll admit, I did catch a few minutes of American Idol but mostly because this guy I know, Adam, is in it. I don't even know why he auditioned as in the theatre world (musical theatre), he's already reached god-status.
That's pure stupidity right there. Why would they ban imported books? So they can conquer the market? If that's what they want, they should probably write better books or promote local books more. I agree, doing so would indeed lead to even more illiteracy than there already is.
LOL. A lot of my friends are trying to get me to join Twitter as well but for some reason, I find that I hate it... I can't fully explain why but I just don't like the look of it.

LOL, he's your friend? That's so cool! And yeah, he's the one most people feel will win this season. His theater background comes out when he sings though, but his confidence definitely is a plus.
Stupid is the word, really. I don't know what they hope to accomplish. Make this country go to the dogs some more? They're doing a great job in that regard!
Haha, really? Is it the concept of Twitter or the layouts, etc.? For me, it's a pretty good time-waster. Hee!

I wouldn't say friend, lol. He's just someone who was at a party at the same time as me and we ended up hanging out and talking about Burning Man. I like his theatrical stylings... in fact, he's the only one I like in the entire bunch... and that's saying a lot as I usually hate American Idol (except for the auditions because those make me laugh).
Now that I've read up more about it, I'm furious. I'm a big supporter of getting children and adults to read more (comics, novels, fiction, non-fiction) as I do believe it can awaken a person's imagination as well as deliver knowledge in a fun way. I just hope people shut down that ridiculous idea...
I think it might also be the concept. I hate little blurbs... I don't know if you can tell, but I have a hard time keeping things short. :)

LOL, that's still interesting to know. He's definitely entertaining and hard to top. It helps that he's also creative aside from downright good.
So far, the last two days, there haven't been new developments with regards to that stupid rule/law. I hope that means that the people behind it are rethinking everything. I mean, REALLY.
Haha, true, true! It's just fun to see what everyone's up to on a moment-by-moment basis, I guess. But yeah, LiveJournal and other blogs are always better when it comes to saying what you want. Twitter feels like texting: limited to 160 characters. Bwahaha.
