Oh, there's more than that. For awhile after she died they were planning to put her in a glass coffin in a museum ala Lenin and did all this state-of-the-art preservation shit on her. When they did exhume her later she apparently hadn't decayed too much at all. Read all about it in one of my favourite books!

My favorite is that there's still a saying in Spanish: "What did you eat, Peron's hands?" -- to describe when someone smells really bad. ;)
