Some college kid emailed me a while back (a year or so?) because she wanted her name removed from one of my LJ entries. Problem was that I a) couldn't find the entry in question and b) I didn't really care all that much. Once she provided the link, I did edit her name out however.

Thanks - I was a wee bit annoyed. I did edit the entry to take her name out though, once she provided the link.

Funny thing is I had two college students on my list defriend me over this oh noes.

Holy fuck... it's from 2006, dude. I don't love anyone enough on my friend's list to read through 3+ years of entries. No offense or anything. :-)

If it were me, I'd leave her name in. It's your journal. Period. And you cut and pasted from an article you didn't write. She can't make the article up and disappear from the internet, so why would she care about it being in some random person's journal?
