I was shocked the first time I used the noise-cancel feature on my headphones; I loaded and started the dishwasher, and was convinced it was broken until I heard the gentle "slosh" of the water.

Aren't they amazing? I had one of my kids come into my bedroom - opening and closing the door, having a full conversation with Aus, then opening the door and leaving again - without me even noticing.

I couldn't believe it.

Your icon reminds me of this picture. :D And I don't think I could deal with noise-canceling headphones. I mean, I understand where the idea comes from, but I get twitchy when I can't hear things through my music.

PRAISE CREEPY JESUS! Even the slightest buzzing of the computer or the air conditioner drive me up the wall! I need to send in another dollar!
