Kristen does sound like Janis Joplin! Her voice is stunning, they're my new favorite band of the moment.

Also, I feel pretty much exactly the same way about some of those younger fans. It wasn't really that long ago that I was in their position, but dear god I hope I never acted like some of them. Not all, I really hate to generalize, but from where I was it felt like most were either really rude or knew nothing about the band execpt "Jenny Lewis Jenny Lewis OMG Jenny Lewis". I was maybe the seventh person in line so I could get a good spot, and going into the venue, these little girls started running like there was no tomorrow and almost knocked me over to beat me there. It was ridiculous.
