Marching Through Time

This spring's reenacting season has been fanTAStic. Jamestown was busy and warm, and our Marietta Mansion event this weekend was busy and cool. I think this is the first year in a long time where all of us made it out to both events both days, without staying home for somebody or other being sick or not wanting to be out in dreadful weather. Hooray

We talked about coming by, but by the time we looked up where to go, there wasn't enough time to drive there before things closed down!

Jeff did actually have prescription lenses put into them. The fall off the face when leaning forward, though.

We were trying to make it out, it's one of the few sites that's actually pretty close to home. It was fencing installation weekend and before I knew it the afternoon was gone. You think you have plenty of time and then realize it's time for dinner.

I love how the boys are really taking to their living history roles. :)
