Who would be the lead characters? Detective Tim McBride; dead patients at Mercy Cross Hospital; a staff of suspects.
Who would be the bad guy/guys? Though he/she doesn't consider themselves a "bad guy", everyone is anxious about the "Angel of Death" disconnecting breathing tubes from elderly and vegitative patients.
What would the story be about? A pattern of long-term patients at the hospital who die unexpectedly, but not without help.
Where would it take place? Mercy Cross Hospital, Seattle, WA.
Would it end happily-ever-after or sad? Depends on your perspective...the case would be solved, though.
100 Word Scene:The room was, for lack of a better term, deathly still. Unlike the other rooms in the ward, there was no hiss of a ventilator, no steady or rhythmic beeping of a heart monitor. Who would be the lead characters? An absent-minded scientist, his dim-witted assistant, his bossy wife, and their smarter-than-god daughter.
Who would be the bad guy/guys? The scientist and his assistant, although it's not on purpose. They're experimenting with the Butterfly Effect and it has dire consequences.
What would the story be about? The scientist who has created a type of time-machine that lets you go back and change one choice at a time. He and his assistant decide to process the different variables of this. His wife tries to destroy the machine, disliking the consequences, which (of course) leaves things rather bad. So it's up to the daughter to fix things before they get totally out of hand.
Where would it take place? Probably New York or LA, somewhere high in population.
Would it end happily-ever-after or sad? A little bit of both, you can't make an omelet without cracking some eggs, after all.

Who would be the bad guy/guys? Meagen's ex, Nathan.
What would the story be about? How hard it is for Meagen to move on and who makes the choice to challenge her.
Where would it take place? The CSI Unit.
Would it end happily-ever-after or sad? Happy.

"Don't let go."
The gathered people were staring as they watched Meagen finally fold into Jennifer, the support and caring obvious. Jennifer kept her gaze on Meagen as she lead her out of the room, arma tight around the shivering woman.
