Be still my fluttering heart. I almost want to go see Chicago & War at Verizon Wireless on Saturday but it's just too far to drive. So... London? Tickets By Lottery? GAH. I am already going to London for the Bonzo Dog Band in December, simply can't go two times. Dammit.

"The band is releasing yet another compliation record later this year."

Yeah, great. The band was an album act that only released two singles, only one previously unreleased track has even been pulled out of the vault since 1981, and there have been three best-ofs already (two of them double discs). And two box sets. Oh, come on.

Yeah, they're milking the cash cow like Capitol and the Beatles.

Although the How the West Was Won DVD/CD set was pretty sweet.

The Beatles situation annoys me for a different reason. Most of the EMI CDs badly need to be remastered (they haven't been since the catalog was issued on CD in 1987). Instead we get a #1s collection, a pointless new version of the Yellow Submarine soundtrack, blah. I mean, I do love the Anthology CDs, but don't you think Capitol and EMI should have upgraded the proper albums first?

At least Zep's albums sounds great on CD.

Oh man I hear you on the remastering. And they teased us with the 5.1 mixes on the Anthology DVD, the bastards.
