As of last week, I am officially unemployed. Why you may ask? It took guts to follow through and quit when your pansy boss brought that up...if you had valid points, it's a pity he's not enough of a human being to look into it. "I'll solve this problem by getting rid of the person complaining" happens all over the place.

I wish you luck in getting a new job--that's the down side to sticking to your guns. :/

Yeah, I was very nervous about seeing him, watching the time fly by and everyone running to clock in then I was waiting to see him. He did say I made good points and he wanted to see if he can get people for maintenance to fix the new carts up to address those issues. Though I would have prefer that he actually work with those carts for a day with an employee that was of a short stature like most people in that area and see if they were productive. The supervisor says he worked in our department a few weeks ago though I didn't see him but admitted that he had yet to try the new carts out himself.

I may not have succeeded but I stood up for what I believed in and what I felt was right; I'm dam proud of myself. And as they say, when one door closes, another one opens.

I really wouldn't say it was the corporation that enforced the new carts on us, it was whatever the supervisor felt would improve productivity which is a pressure he gets pushed on by trying to reduce cost for the corporation. Mostly, I feel that he needed to try to make himself look less expendable since this year is the first time in a long time that whole warehouse inventory had to be redone and under his watch too. Oh well, you can't really change the system; well, perhaps if the country went Red or something.
