Much sympathy. Don't know what to tell you -- Callie's been looking for work for months now, with twenty years' experience, and not having much better luck than you are. I managed, with a great deal of luck, to land a part-time piecework job as a cleaning woman; it doesn't bring in more than about $500 a month, but anything helps. This is not a good economy to be trying to find work in, period. Seattle is marginally better than a lot of the country for it, but that is not saying much.

I owe you a call...and I'm thinking of a chain-commission. Might buy you the materials and then just pay you for talent/time. Just need to figure out if it's feasable for wearing due to weight. Ir figure an alterantive weighted wire for doing the chain in...more in a phone call after the election down here on Tuesday.

Relax and control are the keys to driving. Most of it is kind of like the martial arts thing, Learn it then unlearn it. Develop the fine motor control in your ankle then once you are able to hold varying degrees of pressure, train yourself to do so without thinking about it so you can focus on the world around you.
Once you are able to drive while mostly asleep down a major street without getting into a wreck you have become a Zen Driver... either that or really in need of caffeine >.>

As for the work stuff, its about the same down here. Good luck with everything. ^.^
