Still, with all the heavy, there was plenty of light to balance it.
"Quill, you're one sandwich away from being fat."
"Oh, we're using our made up names? I'm Spider Man."

So, so much to process...
The feel-good antidote, if the buzz is accurate, comes this Friday in the form of Deadpool 2. Rotten Tomatoes critics are 3 for 3 in favor as of this evening, and the buzz says the after-credits stinger is the all-time best ever.
The comic book had Thanos killing half the universe off-camera and in one page, and the Wasp was indeed one of them, iirc. You're right, most of them do get better.
Briefly, Dinklage as a giant broke the Irony Meter. Mjolnir >>> Stormbreaker. It was also amusing, Thor briefly going Mad Eye Moody after replacing his eye with Rabbit's Rocket's stolen one. The highlight of the stinger was Samuel L. Jackson getting dusted in mid-'motherfucker'. And yeah, it's Captain Marvel, most likely the Carol Danvers version. And Brie Larson does fit the costume nicely, if I may say so myself, but that green needs to go.

OMG, Hulk using a Hulkbuster! I totally missed that! Dammit! *facepalm*
Bucky and Rocket so need to be in a movie together. Comedy gold, even in the brief time we saw them in the movie.
Shall we get into how Movie Vision likely does not have his density-altering power, to become either impenetrable or immaterial, like in the comics? If he has it, he sure didn't use it. Might've made that removing-the-gem thing a bit easier...
DP 2 is currently at 85% on RT, so I am looking forward to seeing it when it opens. Maximum Effort!
