i started volunteering for a kitty rescue organization--they take in feral cats and foster them and train them to be good housecats. seems like effective training--the cats i've seen of theirs are all very sweet. i was thinking about volunteering for the humane, but these people are a lot better (and no-kill as well). it's taking the edge off
