When walking past the memorial for the Hillsborough victims today I stopped to look at all the wreaths, next to me was a boy and his father. The boy turned to his father and said 'What, did someone die?'. Admittedly he probably wasn't born until about 7 years after the disaster, but still.

My mum's dog died today, he was only 5 but very poorly. He'd had epilepsy and had to be on a very high dose of medication which appears to have given him liver failure at such a young age. Poor little boy was always poorly so I'm left feeling sad but glad he's not suffering.

I'm finding clothing sizes to be increasingly confusing, surely a size 12 should be a standard size, but apparently not. The trousers I have for my work uniform are a 14 and barely fit. All my jeans are a 12, the combats I bought from meadowhall today are a 10. Even more strangly my sister (normally a size 10) went to work today in a size 18 top ( Read more... )

I've just seen the best anti theft device ever. I walked past a van with no driver but the engine was on, windows were part down and as the keys were in the ignition the doors must have been unlocked. However I can guarentee it and its contents will be fine as sat on the passenger seat was the largest rottweiler I have ever seen!

Last weekend we went to see The Dark Knight and as everyone else has already said, it rocked. Bloody good job too as it has cost me £75! Due to an overcrowded car park I parked at the retail park instead, due to batman being a long film I was in the car park for 3 hr, 15 mins. Anyone been to Oslo, can you recommend a hotel?

I was wondering if any one will be willing and able to help me, I'm trying to design my new tattoo but have absolutely no ability to draw what's in my head, it won't be a huge piece and I'm thinking stylised at the moment so it shouldn't be too hard for those who can actually draw its just I can't and I don't want one out of a book.
