Hello… it’s me.
I was wondering if after all these years…
…you'd like to read? How’s everyone doing? I hope you’re all fabulous! I really do miss LJ a lot and honestly, I have no excuse why I haven’t updated in forever. Je suis loser.
And this update is kinda just a book club thingie, so it’s probably pretty boring for the most of you. But I want to try to be better and update more often from now on. At least I have the intention to check LJ again frequently and keep up to date with all of your lovely lives.
Anyway, if you’re interested in (re)reading The Raven Cycle please read on! If not you can still tell me what you’ve been up to! I’d love to hear about it. :)
Hello lovely people!
I was thinking we could (re)read the first three books of The Raven Cycle together before the final book comes out end of April.
Like everyone has time to (re)read book one within three weeks or so and then we open a thread and discuss, squee, weep,… over it. And so on.
I also know we don’t have that much time left so the schedule will be pretty tight.
Please feel free to suggest if you want to do anything different or have more & better ideas how to handle this. This is my first time trying to do something like that.
Also, if you don’t want to reread the books but still want to talk with us about it - you’re very welcome! I’m sure you all know it by heart anyway. ;)
SCHEDULE:
Now - February 11th: Time to (re)read The Raven Boys.
February 12th: SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS! SPAM! SQUEE! WEEP! …for as long as you want to.
Now - March 3rd: Time to (re)read The Dream Thieves.
March 4th: SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS! SPAM! SQUEE! WEEP! …for as long as you want to.
Now - March 24th: Time to (re)read Blue Lily, Lily Blue.
March 25th: SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS! SPAM! SQUEE! WEEP! …for as long as you want to.
Of course you can read all the books right away if you want to, just wait for the date when we’re open to discuss the certain books.
Please make sure to write “Spoilers” in the subject line if you are talking about “The Raven King.”
Or do you think we should also write “Spoilers” in the subject line if that post contains stuff about the other books that aren’t to be discussed yet?
Or maybe we will decide once we know who wants to participate and if there’s even people around who are going to read the books for the first time?
OKAY OKAY OKAY. LET'S MAKE THIS A THING. SPREAD THE WORD. SQUASH ONE SQUASH TWO SQUASH THREE.
