[chaos can't seem to help the amusement that's in his voice.]

It seems that it was an interesting time for me to be returned here.  However, even more interesting is the fact they would keep things amongst themselves, don't you think?

Such a move seems inevitable, as opposed to giving power to captives.

Yes, that is part of what I was thinking.

I do wonder what change this will bring, though. I have heard of a time the Milkman was given a different role before, but I was not there to experience it.

I'm afraid I am of no help there. I simply know the Milkman is like the others here, and can be a very cruel individual. [chaos remembers being forced to kill himself quite well, although his emotion at the time would probably strike many as strange]

C'mon, chaos, how can you be so laid back? After everything that happened at the dairy or with that stupid milk Grindery thing?!

Because, a thought occurred to me with this announcement, and with what I've heard of things.

What's that? You're gonna have to spell it out for me.

They ask people to apply, but then they choose one of their own. At first, my thought was what would be forfeited for the power of becoming one of them? But with this, my thought is, would it actually be a threat if one were to become one of them?

I don't have a direct one. However, I've never bought into the story we can't leave. So, for them to offer such a position, effectively as a part of themselves, before stripping it away and giving it to another already in their ranks? Do they fear losing something, were one of us to become one of them?

It might very well be their usual. However, it is a curiosity in it's way.
