[chaos can't seem to help the amusement that's in his voice.]

It seems that it was an interesting time for me to be returned here.  However, even more interesting is the fact they would keep things amongst themselves, don't you think?

I don't have a direct one. However, I've never bought into the story we can't leave. So, for them to offer such a position, effectively as a part of themselves, before stripping it away and giving it to another already in their ranks? Do they fear losing something, were one of us to become one of them?

It might very well be their usual. However, it is a curiosity in it's way.

Oh, I agree there. Understanding one's enemy can lead to their downfall.

I wonder... If they do, what will happen to this place.

Will they? It seems likely they use us merely as a power source. Besides, to do so would mean to cause a permanent droning, would it not?

That's true. Yet, the will must be taken into account. Unfortunately, I do not know what occurs when people are droned for long periods of time... do they truly leave, do they remain? Without knowing that I can't say if droning one of us into one of them would prove useful,or detrimental.

Yes, but a body is merely a shell. I'd have to know if a soul existed to tell you...
