My wee students have kept me busy and a little too exhausted at the end of each day to even contemplate posting an entry.

My foster mom is a teacher, and she says that the love of teaching has, over time, been competing with the will-sucking decisions of administrators, state budgets... and everything up the political line. She spent a serious chunk of her own money before the school year started making her little puke green cinderblock of a room look like she gave a damn. And those same politicians will later stand up and say, "Our teachers have FAILED US" and call for changes, cuts, massive layoffs, etc. I just get so mad on behalf of all of you. :(

But at least you have that picture of Tom Shellac... I mean Selleck. Is it Magnum-era Selleck? Because that's some serious cheese.

It is Magnum PI era ! That's why I bought it.

It was perched on a high shelf. I thought I would piss myself with laughter.
It will bring me years of amusement.
