Hi my friends! Bringing you all a translation AND a scanlation this time!!! As requested by
wendy138, I have translated The Television (08.09.27 - 08.10.31), Gekkan Arashi Vol. 80 featuring Yama pair, Sho & Ohno!!!<3 I have also decided to do a scanlation on top of that^^
I don't usually do scanlations... Cuz well, it's more time-consuming^^ But I felt it was better to do one this time. Cuz part of the translations are actually captions of pictures & it's very troublesome to look at the pictures --> scroll down to look at my translations --> scroll up to the picture again. And it hard to describe which translation is for which picture e.g. this translation is for the caption of the 2nd picture from the left on the 3rd row @_@
So to save all these troubles, I have scanlated the captions part:) So click on the scans to read them! The interview part is not scanlated, it is translated below as usual :)
Content: Ohno making green tea & Sho failing at it XD
Scans credit to Supia!
*Words square brackets are by the interviewer. Words in grey are my notes/comments^^
Before the translation, let me just flail on the pictures/captions above!!! XD
Ohno is so kawaii~ He was so happy just because the teacher praised him. *Lol* Like a child~ So cute! >_< And Sho failing to make tea. Spilling the water & what not *Lol* He is so cute for being 'depressed' when his tea wasn't as good as Ohno's. Awww~ I love the yama pair! They are very sweet to each other~ Sho kept praising Ohno & Ohno comfort Sho by saying his tea taste good even though his tea didn't really turn out as planned XD
I especially like this picture!<3 Sho looking at Ohno~
Okay, translation of the interview here!
Sho: Previously, I did Pu-erh tea (a kind of Chinese tea) with MatsuJun. This time is green tea!
Ohno: I'm already satisfied.
Sho: Okay, let's go home now. [No, you can't. It's still early.]
Ohno: It's good to end here. [You still have work after this.]
*LOL* They totally don't want to do the interview XD
Sho: What's great about this plan (referring to this interview), is that we can learn how detailed green tea making is & how a cup of delicious green tea is brewed.
Ohno: Honestly, it's the first time I drank tea that is so delicious.
Sho: And Ohno-kun, you're really good at it! You are really good with your hands.
Ohno: Previously I learnt how to brew coffee (in another magazine interview). And making green tea is quite similar to it. Both are really quite tricky & even a small change in the temperature of the hot water will greatly affect the taste.
Sho: Ehhh~ But it's a difficult/harsh world. There is no absolute right.
Wha? Why did he bring in harsh/difficult world? *Lol*
Ohno: That's true!
Sho: But, well, the way I make green tea is totally wrong.
Ohno: Ahaha [laughs]
Sho: I am not good at these intricate things.
Ohno: But didn't your last try turn out good?
Aww~ Ohno is trying to comfort Sho~
Sho: 90% was because the teacher's help. I somehow managed to do it. But it's difficult. Making green tea is not easy.
Ohno: If you do it a few times, you'll find out which type of tea you like. But it's hard to maintain the conditions needed to make that.
Sho: That's right~ I thought about this when making Pu-erh tea. The world of tea is complicated.
Ohno: But the Japanese sweets & green tea was delicious~ That was the best combination. The green tea kakigori (shaved ice) was the best. I can't stop eating it!
Sho: Japanese sweets & green tea, seems like we can get used to them for a long time.
Ohno: It may become something which I cannot lack in my life [laughs]. It's not just that it's taste good, the art of enjoying tea & this atmosphere is good too~
Sho: I agree! We may be hooked on it for 1 or 2 months ne~
Ohno: Yeah! ♥
