A peek into my world..

In recent weeks and months, I've been feeling like something is missing in my life a bit. That I needed to get out there and meet some new people. Strictly on a friendship basis... not looking to date at this point even though part of me would love to have someone to cuddle with, I know I couldn't do that mentally ( Read more... )

Does meetup.com work in your area? (I'm not sure if it's just US or not.) That might be a great place to start as it's not dating relating (though, obviously, some people use it for that). I'm always browsing it to see if there is anything interesting going on in my area. I live in a rural area and there isn't even a stitch n' bitch nearby though. *sigh* It's depressing at times.

I haven't heard of meetup.com, maybe I'll check it out tonight.

I think there is a stitch n' bitch in Halifax on Tuesdays, but I'm not a fan of Halifax and I can figure out where the cafe is where they hold it. Apparently there is sketchy attendance anyways. (I read the blog, but have never attended.)

This reminds me that I haven't followed up with you for a walk with your dog and my boys yet. We should do that sometime. You have a day job though, right? I'm usually out walking with my 2 young boys (ages 2 and 3) in the stroller on Mon and Wed mornings in the Dartmouth area, sometimes in Shubie Park. That appeal?

I also have a very, very strong suspicion that the 60-y-o was a quasi-fetishist who gets off on big chicks. Eventually he'd try to get you naked on your webcam or something, so your spidey senses most likely went off justifiably.

And FYI, I'm nearly 37. :) Married for nearly 14 yrs, 3 young kids. (Just for fleshing out my profile... heh heh)

You are soo soo funny. =D

Yeah I work 8:30 - 6pm Monday-Friday, but if I ever take some time off work to kick around the area, I'll let you know and see if you want to do the Shubie thing. The pooch likes Shubie and I'm slowly getting comfortable with letting him go off leash.
