Title: A Wedding
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine

-

It felt as if somehow the world was moving a little slower. Like everything was playing out in slow motion, like every movement was done with a little more precision and a little less haste. As Kurt stepped into the room, he took a moment to take it all in. To let it just sink in and settle inside of him until he realised that yes, this was happening. The room was small and the people were close to his heart and the flowers were white and pearly gray and not very many, but they were wonderful. And he felt himself sort of sway on somewhat spaghetti legs when his gaze finally fell upon Blaine. His wonderfully dark, wonderfully dreamy, wonderfully teary eyed ex-Warbler Blaine. His breath fell short. With hair slightly slicked back and eyelashes dark and unbelievably long, Blaine let his lips curl up into the most breathtaking of smiles. And he reached out his hand to let Kurt grab on to, and together they shared a moment of complete and utter joy watching nothing but each other, before they turned to face the man in front of them. Kurt felt nothing but the warmth of Blaine's hand in his. He had a hard time concentrating on the words being said, because Blaine felt warm and relaxed and wonderful there next to him. "I do," Kurt heard Blaine say, and he had to turn to him and look into his brown eyes and smile, just cause. And then Kurt blurted out, "I do, too. I so do, too." And he heard the faint sound of his loved ones trying not to laugh, not to snicker, not to titter, but the priest chuckled. And Blaine smiled. And Kurt kissed him. Soft and long and letting his hands cup Blaine's face, while he felt Blaine wrap his arms around Kurt's back. The world moved slowly, the kiss lasted and filled their senses. And when Kurt walked back up the isle, he saw the softness of the pearly gray flowers and he felt the warmth of Blaine's hand in his. And suddenly, the world sped up and he felt himself pulling on Blaine's hand, pulling him to hurry, pulling him through the rain of rice, pulling him into the future. Suddenly wanting to do everything, all at once, with his husband.
