 "She was mindful to my criticism." - courtesy of a fellow colleague, who used said phrase in a letter to an instructor detailing his session w/a student. "Mindful to my criticism" gawd that's funny to me. Maybe b/c the guy's like 20, maybe b/c it strikes me as archaic and overly pretentious. And yet so cute!

It is sort of stilted, definitely. But I don't know if it's a regional thing or something, but for my English, "mindful" takes "of" as its preposition. "Mindful of" still is pretty formal/stilted, but I can't really make sense of "mindful to". Just putting in my linguistic-y two cents...hope the job is overall going well.
