No, we stayed at the Stardust last year. The first 2 pix are from October 2006.

That's cool, I noticed the Stardust tower in its stripped out state back in January! :)

Yeah. They had a decent firework display. But they really could have gone laser too. I had an idea I would have pitched had I known they were going to give it some fanfaire. I wanted to project the word Stardust where the original sign on the building was, illuminate the building itself with color that mirrored the neon that slashed across the building. And as it gets imploded, flicker out the sign and then go to flying diamonds as in their logo ... projected on the dust for a 3D effect. Toss in some sparkles. I think it would have been a more emotional and appropriate faerwell. To see the building as it was, one last time.

Thanks, and thank you so much for letting us stay with you the first night there. We were so busy this time. I hope we can visit on less rushed circumstances next Vegas adventure.
