STARDUST IMPLOSION STILLS!
We came, we conquered, we imploded a hotel!
Julia did a wonderful job of capturing Flapjack's evil scheme.
Last October, one week before the Stardust closes.
The view from the 28th floor of the Stardust tower where we stayed last year. You can see the Frontier across the street.
We took our images from the 12th floor of the tower which is just to the right of center.
The images of the implosion are from the parking lot just below that tower.
The following sequence was graciously and exquisitely snapped for me by Foxglove while I got video.
630AM Is it snow? A vocanic Eruption? Meep ... its Stardust on my new car!
I bought a can of compressed air to blow it off as the concrete dust could cause scratches if it were wiped or washed.
