The show - The Sound of Music - was really brilliant last night. Connie Fisher played Maria. The lady on the coach said that when she had rung to enquire earlier in the day whether Connie would be in the show tonight, she wasn't sure at that point. Fortunately, she was well enough to take part.

Everything went fine at work until I was on the minibus this afternoon. 1st of all, I got the stool for someone to get off the minibus. I stood on it and it toppled over. I jumped off to avoid falling but it toppled but it fell sideways and whacked my left shin. My left knee which occasionally plays up decided to ache which made me feel tired. A ( Read more... ) -

I have spent most of the day at home. I talked to my friend on Instant Messenger this morning and had pasta with smoked bacon Dolmio sauce for lunch. I had had the same with the other half of the sauce on Tuesday. They only had smoked bacon in the shop. I wasn't very keen on it so I don't think I'll try it again ( Read more... ) -

I didn't win anything at Bingo tonight. It was nice to see my friend though and to catch up. We both enjoyed ourselves and that's the main thing.
ETA: Today, Tony Blair has announced that he is resigning as Prime Minister. Gordon Brown is expected to take over. Tony Blair finishes - or whatever the word is on 27th June 2007. -
