Last night went ok. There seemed to be a quiet mood during the dancing. Everyone still joined in though on the choruses in the singsong afterwards. I am not working on the day the funeral is planned for so I don't need to take the day off.
I got there to find that I was the only female Morris Dancer wearing bright colours - the rest of the ladies were wearing the full kit. The female musician was wearing a bright top. The message had been sent from one of the men to my friend (then to me) that it was bright clothes so he passed that message on. It was then checked with a lady in charge and it was actually still full kit for women and bright tops for men. The message was never passed onto the man, friend - who wasn't well enough to make it last night- or me. I hope that makes sense!
I didn't mind about it, though. I discovered that it's best not to wear a long skirt whilst dancing!
Work went well today. The Day Centre Co-ordinator cooked chicken soup and leek and potato soup for everyone. I had some - it was scrumptious. There was also chunks of bread to go with it.
I have collected for Christian Aid tonight. I thought that the big Emmerdale episode was tonight so I rushed back afterwards. It is actually tomorrow night so I hope to watch it then.
