I don't know -- I was already thinking about becoming a nurse (not sure if I would try and become a nurse-midwife, though), and I find so many issues about birth really fascinating (I've also been spending too much time reading the cesarean_rage and birth_trauma eljay communities...). It's also something I'd want to know lots about just for myself.
