Well...I am back in one piece (actually got home LAST nite but I needed to catch up on a little sleep!). However...I really wish I never had to come back. I could easily spend a happy lifetime just sightseeing the wonderful places we have in this country. After the AMA Amateur National Motocross Races at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in mid Tennessee (I ( Read more... )

Grudge will just barely FIT in the seat...let alone being able to be comfortable during almost 40 hours of being in the truck, so no-he couldn't go.

As far as Europe or Africa...I never EVER intend to leave this country except maybe to Canada. I have almost as much desire to travel overseas as I do to eat dry dog food for the rest of my life. No planes for me thank you...

I KNEW you were going to burn out posting on so many places. I couldn't see the point myself. SO yeah, I'm glad you settled back here "at home". And of course I drove. I do NOT fly. I drove to Memphis, then back and forth to the track for 2 days (round trip of ~140 miles). Then to ST. Louis and on to Chicago where I spent the nite. Next day I toured Chicago, drove to Detroit, then home. I am not spending much time on here yet as I am REALLY tired of sitting!!!

Love ya,
Chad

And as far as the cute guys...this was a National event. There are almost 45,000 sanctioned motocross racers in the USA. Of those, about 20,000 try out for this one race. It's a three step elimination process. A little over 700 make it to Lorettas. Of those 700...about 300 were fucking awesome!!!! I guess I fell in love at least once every 10 minutes. Sigh...

Too bad you missed the full tour, the Henry Ford Museum is worth the visit. For truly fine dining you should have stopped at all the Cracker Barrels you must have seen along the way.

I've been making them up in my spare time. I like that one you're using too.

Cracker Barrels and Perkins and my favorite places to eat...but on the "whirlwind tour" I made, there wasn't much time for that. I did eat at a Long Horn Steakhouse while in TN after the races one nite. To be nearly 165 lbs...I really eat very little! I just hate McDonalds. If it were Arby's or something decent...I wouldn't be bitchin!

Lol...I am still sopping wet from them. They won't leave my side. Ever tried to sleep on a couch with a 65 lb dog next to you and a 25 lb one on top of you? Lol
