After my college orientation this past Monday, I took the bus to Anime Castle, andgot lost on my way bought the Code Geass Knight doujinshi. The cover is probably the most beautiful thing in the book, but all the stories are well drawn, and are fun to read too. Funny how CG is one of the only anime that I can tolerate mindless crack with. Gah, I'm a little jealous ... That Mitsuwa festival sounds nice, and to be able to find so much cool stuff in stores ... Haha, we don't really have much Japan-related stuff here, apart from some anime/manga-stores and maybe one or two Japanese gardens ...

That's NYC for you: it has everything, including real-time terrorism. 8D

But times like this, I'm grateful for it. Virtually everything is a 45 minute train ride away. :3

Haha, we do get some Japan-related events, mostly very small and amateuristic because it's organised by fans ... would you believe it, this country is so small that I practically know all people here who are into Japan/anime/lolita/thatsortofstuff xD ... It's, uh, cosy?

We get about two events per year that are somewhat bigger and more professionally organised? Ah, but I shouldn't complain, idk if living in NYC would be anything for me ^^'
